Just showed my 50 y/o dad the entire Funky Town video. The man is seen lying on the ground with his arms and legs tied up with what appears to be an extension cord or wire. I'm the art director and developer, the design was done by Giacomo Cecchini, the animations by Yasin Gumustas.
